CAPA® polyols are used in the manufacture of polyurethane adhesives in all forms, including TPU's, solvent based and aqueous dispersions. Typical end uses are:
- Bonding Shoe Soles and Uppers
- Laminated Packaging
- Textile Bonding
- Magnetic Tape Adhesive
The benefits provided by CAPA® products are:
- Low viscosity polyols and polyurethanes leads to reduced solvent and VOC.
- Low viscosity systems aids wet out.
- Excellent adhesion to different substrates including leather.
- CAPA® polyols are aliphatic and hence are light stable.
- CAPA® polyols are non toxic and biodegradable.
- CAPA® polyester polyols provide excellent oil and UV stability.
- Very good hydrolysis resistance in comparison with to other polyesters.
- Low density in comparison with to other polyester based polyurethanes ca. 4%.
- Excellent low temperature flex properties, fatigue and wide working temperature range.
- Outstanding tear strengths.
