CAPA® polyols are used in the manufacture of polyurethane adhesives in all forms, including TPU's, solvent based, aqueous dispersions, hot melts and reactive hot melts. CAPA® thermoplastics are hot melt adhesives and are also used in combination with PU systems in reactive hot melts. Typical end uses are:

- Very good hydrolysis resistance in comparison with to other polyesters.
- Low density in comparison with to other polyester based polyurethanes ca. 4%.
- Excellent low temperature properties due to low Tg (-60°C) and wide working temperature range.
- Highly crystalline CAPA thermoplastics.
