CAPA® polyols are used in the manufacture of polyurethane adhesives in all forms, including TPU's, solvent based, aqueous dispersions, hot melts and reactive hot melts. CAPA® thermoplastics are hot melt adhesives and are also used in combination with PU systems in reactive hot melts. Typical end uses are:

The benefits provided by CAPA® products are
- Low viscosity systems aids wet out and improves processing
- Excellent adhesion to different substrate including leather.
- CAPA polyols are aliphatic and hence are light stable.
- CAPA polyols are non toxic and biodegradable.
- CAPA polyester polyols provide excellent oil and UV stability.
- Very good hydrolysis resistance in comparison with to other polyesters.
- Low density in comparison with to other polyester based polyurethanes ca. 4%.
- Excellent low temperature properties, due to low Tg, (-60°C) and wide working temperature range
- Highly crystalline CAPA thermoplastic polymers
