CAPA® PL grades have been developed as effective, non-migrating alternative to phthalates for plasticisation of a wide range of polymers. CAPA® thermoplastics can also be used as an alternative plasticisation system. These products are aliphatic polyesters with a low Tg of -60°C and low melt viscosities which leads to their use as plasticisers, particularly for PVC.
The benefits provided by CAPA® products are:
- Compatible with a wide range of polymers.
- Low Tg.
- Wide range of molecular weights available to maximise. plasticisation and non migration effects.
- Aliphatic light stable product.
